Basic Techniques To Prepare Cake For A Baby Shower

A new baby is given a warm welcome in many families by conducting a baby shower. Baby shower were initially held for the first baby only, but nowadays the event is organized for all babies. A baby shower is just incomplete without a cake and it is the main attraction of a baby shower. There is a wide range of cakes available in the market which you can choose from.

Rubbing method - The dry ingredients available are rubbed with butter first and then liquid ingredients are added slowly and gradually.

Sponge making - The cake is made by beating the sugar and eggs into a froth. This forth is mixed in the flour. The fat or raising agent is absent in this preparation, so one has to be very cautious while preparing.

All-in-together - As the name suggest all the ingredients i.e. liquid and dry are placed together with the shortening in the food processor.

Melt and mix - As he mane suggest this technique goes by properly mixing the dry ingredients together first and then addition of liquid ingredients and melted butter afterwards.

Creaming method - In this method sugar and butter are creamed together and then rests of the ingredients are added.
